333 Designs started over 12 years ago when founder, Corrie Spearing started her first design studio by renting space from a wholesaler in Huntsville, Alabama. The original name for the company was “To Have and To Hold,” but after a year passed, Corrie felt led to change the company name to “Unique and Timeless.” Advisors and friends confirmed that the name would give her the ability to branch out into other event avenues, allowing her to reach more than just the wedding market. In January 2012, Corrie was anxious and ready to branch out on her own, and leave the three other jobs she was currently working. She said, “I could feel the Lord leading me and telling me it was time.” With very little savings and a very big dream, Corrie left her other jobs and poured her heart and soul into the business.
Over the next few months Corrie devoted everything she had to the company. The business blossomed and by spring of 2012, Corrie could no longer operate out of her small townhouse and started looking for a studio. By April, God opened the door and she moved into a small 950 square feet studio in the Five Points neighborhood. Rebranding soon followed and so came the birth of 333 Designs. 333 Designs spent a little over 2 years at a site on Andrew Jackson with part time employees and seasonal help. The company continued to rapidly grow, as did the inventory along with it. After four years and three moves we now call 301 Jordan Lane their current home. 333 has been blessed with amazing staff and growth, and now our team consists of two full-time designers and planners, office staff, three day of coordinators, and we offer internship positions and seasonal employment.
Though we have grown quickly, our passion remains the same and we all desire to create and design products and events that are customized for each of our clients. Each team member brings a special approach and unique touch to the company and the events they design. 333 continues to stand behind the definition of our name: bringing together the balance of truth, light, and love, and a divine calling to their mission in the event, floral, and wedding industries.
